I live on a red route. Where can you do the job?
We cannot fit glass on a red route, but there is usually a side street, a drive or a car park close by. Tell us the address when you book and we will agree a safe, legal spot before we arrive.
Is it safe to drive with a smashed rear screen?
It is best not to. Broken toughened glass keeps dropping out of the frame, the car is open to rain and thieves, and you lose your view out of the back. Tape plastic over the opening, leave the car parked and we will come to you.
How do you know which windscreen my car needs?
Your registration tells us the model and the options it was built with, such as a heated screen, a rain sensor or a tinted band. Some cars came with more than one type of glass, so we may ask for a photo of the top of the windscreen behind the mirror to be sure.
Can you fit my windscreen at work near Staples Corner?
Often, yes. If the car park or yard is safe to work in and the site is happy for us to be there, we can fit your glass while you work and you drive home as normal.
