After a few calls I’ve managed to get an appointment on the same day with Prime Windscreens for a very reasonable price. Can you work on my street if I only have permit parking?
Usually, yes. We just need safe space around the car, and if your bay is very tight we can talk through the best spot when you book.
Is a small chip really worth repairing before my MOT?
Yes. Damage bigger than 10 mm in the driver's central view, or 40 mm elsewhere in the area the wipers clear, fails the MOT. A repair while the chip is small costs far less than a new screen and stops it growing into a fail.
