Windscreen Replacement
If a crack is spreading, damage in your line of sight is bigger than 10 mm, or the glass has shattered, a new windscreen is the safe choice. Your windscreen is part of the car's structure. It helps hold the roof up in a rollover and gives the passenger airbag something to push against, so we treat every fitting as a safety job, not a quick swap.
What is included
- Glass matched to your registration, including rain and light sensors, heated and acoustic screens and head up displays
- Careful removal of the old screen, trims and wiper arms
- Frame cleaned and primed for a strong, watertight bond
- Quality urethane adhesive, with new clips or mouldings where needed
- The old glass taken away and your car left clean inside
How long does it take?
Most windscreens take around an hour to fit. Once the screen is in, the adhesive needs a little time to set, and we will tell you exactly when it is safe to drive.
Windscreen Stone Chip Repair
A stone chip can look harmless, but a cold morning, a hot day or a pothole can turn it into a crack that runs across the glass. Repairing it early is quicker and cheaper than a new screen, and your windscreen stays where it is.
What can be repaired
- Chips up to about the size of a 5p coin
- Chips up to 10 mm in the driver's central view (MOT zone A), though a faint mark may stay there
- Bullseye, star and combination breaks that have not spread into a long crack

How a stone chip repair works
- We clean out the chip and draw out any moisture.
- A resin injector pulls the air out of the break and fills it.
- The resin is cured with UV light so it sets hard.
- We polish the surface smooth, leaving the damage far less visible.
Got a fresh chip? Stick a small piece of clear tape over it to keep dirt and water out until we get to you. It makes for a cleaner repair.
Heated Rear Window Replacement
A smashed rear screen leaves your car open to the weather and anyone walking past. We hoover the broken glass out of the boot and cabin, fit a new heated rear window made for your model, clear or privacy tinted, and reconnect the heating and wiper.
Demister stopped working?
The heater lines and the tabs that feed them are part of the glass, so once they stop clearing the frost, the fix is a new heated rear window. Our demister guide goes through the usual causes.
Tailgates, estates and vans
We fit rear screens on hatchbacks, estates and SUVs, and back door glass on vans, including tinted and heated versions.
Door Glass Replacement
A break in or a side window that shattered on its own is stressful enough without a trip to a garage. We come out, clear the broken glass from the door and seats, fit a new window and check it winds up and down smoothly before we leave. Quarter Glass and Vent Glass Replacement
Quarter glass is the small fixed window behind the rear doors, and some cars also have a vent glass in the front door. They are easy to forget until one gets broken.
We track down the right piece for your make and model and fit it on site. It is always brand new glass, even for an older car.

Who will actually fit my glass?
Our own small local team. We are family owned, so from the first call to the finished job you deal with real people who care about your car, and who will still be here if you ever need us again.
Do you use genuine glass?
We fit manufacturer glass, or equivalent glass made to the same safety standards, and both are approved for road use in the UK. If you would like to know which one your quote is for, just ask when you call.
Can I drive straight after a new windscreen is fitted?
Give the adhesive time to set first. We will tell you the safe drive away time on the day. For the next day or two, avoid slamming the doors and skip the car wash.
Do you fit tinted and privacy glass?
Yes. We source clear, tinted and privacy glass to match the rest of your car, including heated and acoustic windscreens.
